As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many things about regular life in Anchorage, Alaska changed – surprisingly, one of those things was how out of town (mostly out of country) seasonal seafood workers would travel without quarantine to work at the many fisheries and fish processing facilities around Alaska. Peppercini’s catering contacted 23 and Frosty with a very unique problem – How do you collect custom menu options from literally thousands of people staying at different hotels around Anchorage during their mandatory 2 week quarantine?
23 and Frosty worked closely with Peppercini’s Catering to create an Online Ordering Menu Web Application for these seasonal seafood workers to fill out and register with Peppercini’s. Peppercini’s then used this data while preparing the meals for each hotel, and delivered the custom chosen menu to each quarantined person. During the entire duration of the project, thousands of menus have been registered and customized, and delivered using this Web Application. 23 and Frosty still supports this project until it is no longer used by Peppercini’s.
